POST 9: CHANGING THE STUDY PROGRAMME

Hi everyone!

Today I will tell you about the changes to my study programme, the journalism programme. I really like the career, however, there are things that I would change, for example, the teaching methods and the infraestructure of ICEI (classrooms).

One teaching methods that I don't like are the evaluations because they are like in the high school, the test are with alternatives, completion, paired terms and other things that are only memory tests. I don't like to memorize the contents because I prefer to understand and develop the contents.

In relation to the infraestructure of ICEI, I don't like the size of the classrooms because are very small and we are too many students. The hot days (like today) are unbearable.The air conditioning never works and that is terrible!

And I not only would change this, I also feel that there are preferences for some teachers and that lowers the quality of education. In ICEI they let go many good teachers, while there are others who are quite bad and continue to teach, regardless of the opinion of the students.

Finally, I don't like that every year increase the enrollment of the career, more and more people entering journalism and that generates that many students desert the career during the firts years and then there is less work field.

However, I like the journalism and the ICEI.
