POST 7: CURRENT ISSUES

Imagen
In the recent years I have become involved with nature and i have thought a lot about how to help to conserve it, but there is a problem that surpassed me and feel that we must act quickly. This es the case of plastic and its impact on the ocean, a situation that has alerted several environmental groups around the world. Some weeks ago the case of team from the national park of wakatobi, in Indonesia, found a deceased whale with more than 6 kg of plastic inside, a fact a that alarmed the world population and made me think about the impact that this material generate. Although many measures have been implemented to reduce the use of plastic, such as removing the bags from the supermarket, I feel that it is not enough because practically everything is of this material and, when the object is discarded, this ends in landfills and takes thousands of years to degrade. This issue is important and it is necessary to be aware, as it affects the next generations and if no...

POST 6: POST GRADUATE STUDIES

Imagen
In my previous post I spoke about my passion for sports, especially football, for that reason, I would like to do a postgraduate in Sports Journalism. Where? Obvious that outside of Chile, because I like a lot to travel and to know new places. I would like to study in Spain because Spanish is spoken there hahaha, the truth is that studying in a Spanish-speaking country is always easier than studying in a place where the language is different. I would like to study a Postgraduate in Sports Journalism at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. Why? Because Manfred Schwager did it. Who is he? A teacher at the University that I had in the first year, he was a very good teacher, he knows a lot and he is a very good sports journalist. And if he could study, why don't I? I would also like to participate in an oral development and speech course, to learn about radio. I would like to work in Radio Cooperativa, but I think I have to learn a lot sooner. A nother thing that I woul...

POST 5: MY FUTURE JOB

Imagen
I've always liked sports, especially soccer, I remember when I was younger I played with my brothers and I always liked watching football on TV. Also, when I was in high school, I always listened to sports programs on the radio. That motivated me to study journalism. I would like to work on that, be a sports journalist and with my work help athletes from all over Chile, especially female athletes, whose work (like everything in life) is always more difficult. I love football, I'm a Colo Colo fan since always and I've followed him everywhere. A while ago I traveled to Brazil to support Colo Colo in the Copa Libertadores. I am currently a Reporter and I am accredited by the ANFP, I go to all parties to take pictures. Photography is one of the things I love the most, however, I would like to work in the Radio and travel to different places, I do not like to be in one place, much less an office! I know many stadiums in Chile and I would like to continue...

POST 4: MY EXPERIENCE IN BRAZIL

Imagen
The truth is that I have never liked to talk about my private life to the public,  but this was a very good experience and it deserves that people know it. I started taking pictures in football during 2015, a sport that to this day is my passion. I've had to know different stadiums, journalists and even soccer players, but my best experience so far is to travel abroad. Since I was a kid I'm a Colo Colo fan, like my dad and my older brother. This year the team become one of the eigth best teams in the Copa Libertadores, one thing that didn´t happened since 2007. I was so excited that i decided to travel to watch Colo Colo playing in Brazil, specifically to the city of Sao Paulo.  In this city I was 8 days and took the opportunity to take a vacation (I deserved it hahahaha).  Beyond the result (we lost against Palmeiras and we were eliminated), the experience of traveling abroad to follow the team of your life is priceless. Besides, I had the opportun...
