POST 3: PERSONAL OPINIONS

Imagen
The reality of the elderly in Chile Chile is a country where the population was aged considerably, the National Service of  he Elderly indicates that in our country there are 2 million 800 thousand people over 60 years of age, that is, 16.2% of the total population. This is due to advances in technology and medicine, which have allowed people to live longer. Life expectancy in Chile is 80.5 years, according to the World Health Organization. But living longer does not mean living well, because in Chile pensions are low, retired people receive very little money and do not have enough to live well. I think we should love and respect our seniors because they have a lot of wisdom and gave their lives to create a better future for us, the younger ones. The grandparents of the world should live well, enjoying every day with good music and good conversation. Older adults should live their old age doing everything they could not do before. They should live with many jo...

POST 2: THE BEST HOLIDAYS EVER

Imagen
The truth is that I don't know which has been my best trip, because I always do different things, I like visiting different places. On this occasion, I am going to tell you an unforgettable trip that i had with some friends in 2014. It was my last year on high school. Me a group of friends we went to Cajón del Maipo, which is in Santiago, the capital and largest city of Chile. One of my friends invited us to camp and we stayed there for a couple of days (I think three days) we bought food, snacks and a lot of beer! I love beer. I liked that place because I had never been there and we didn´t have mobile phones (only cameras), therefore, we were disconnected from the world. The landscape and the view were beautiful, I loved the river and the snowy mountains. We also went to "El embalse del Yeso" and it was really fun because we were all cramped in the car (we took more people along the way), we were laughing the hole road. I think that ride was as a "s...

POST 1: A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT: FRANCE

Imagen
I like traveling. I have had the opportunity to know many places in Chile, especially in the south of the country, and in the last years, I was able to visit Brazil and Uruguay. Despite the beauty of those places, my dream is only one: go to France. My love for this country was born at school when I studied the language, it was there when everything started. Besides, I love football, and the first World Cup in the world that I remember was in that country (1998), where Chile also participated after many years out of it. However, this is not the only thing that catches my attention, also its architecture, culture, and art seems striking. I love photography and a good city to immortalize different moments would be Paris, especially the Eiffel Tower. Although I would like to live and work in that place, France is currently facing several security measures due to terrorist attacks that have occurred in recent years, so I can only be a tourist. I hope that one day this dream ca...
